Know­ing Types of Potatoes

Pota­toes on the mar­ket are of many kinds. the fol­low­ing types of pota­toes you might need to know.

Reg­u­lar pota­toes: Pota­toes are sticky and tend to stick. round and more uni­form. Suit­able for mixed soup, gado-gado and dumplings that are not eas­ily destroyed.

Potato but­ter: There are two types of but­ter potato Tess and gra­nola. Both are large potato with irreg­u­lar shape. The dif­fer­ence are, potato-Tess have lighter skin color and with thin fibers that feels a bit rough when touched. While, potato gra­nola has smoother skin. Potato but­ter has soft tex­ture and pulen. They also has Low water con­tent, so it is very suit­able processed into French fries and potato chips as they eas­ily become dry and crispy. Also can be used for baked potato (baked potato) mashed pota­toes and potato pie.
